For Windows:
1) Right-Click on the Windows Symbol in the taskbar, and select "System"
2) Locate the "Windows Specifications" section to see the Edition of Windows, and the specific version number.
For Mac:
From the Apple menu (the apple icon) in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. You should see the macOS name, such as macOS Ventura or macOS Monterey, followed by its version number. If you need to know the build number as well, click the version number to see it.
